About the German Network
Professional Network San Diego
The German Business Network San Diego is one of the oldest German Stammtisch Meetups since 2001 in San Diego, California. The very first organizers were Stefan Scheinert, Mike Zeller and Jürgen Schmerler. The original idea of the Meetup has been that Germans in San Diego can come together to help each other out in terms of sharing their experiences, knowledge, and takeaways from their day-to-day life in San Diego, California and the U.S.

Why Come To Us?
There are several reasons for people to come to the meeting. The main reason would be to meet new people or meet the ones they already know from the meeting. The meeting is not accompanied by events or presentations, it is self-regulated and free of charge.
The atmosphere is rather relaxed where we eat, drink, talk, and have a good time together.
The goal of the meeting is to have a pleasant get-together where friendships and business contacts can form.
Who Are Our Guests?
All people are welcome regardless of their origin. We often have guests who have lived in Germany for a while or who have had business dealings with Germany.
Sometimes guests also bring their spouses who have no direct connection to Germany. From time to time, we also have visitors who are interested in German business contacts, or who just have overall interest in German culture or want to get to know Germans who live in San Diego.
Many of our guests are entrepreneurs or work for companies or agencies in San Diego County or the U.S. overall.
There is no basic ruleset for the Meetup. We do not host events and do not charge any fees. Simply come and meet us, and have a great time.
